Home Sweet Home?

How often we hear “Home Sweet Home” but in fact isn’t so sweet?

Verbal and physical abuse, violence, lack of role models, poverty, no communication, divorce, separation, and betrayal. These are few examples of what many young people go through in their homes. It’s so common nowadays to find youths whose families are falling apart.

And perhaps this is what you see in your family, you don’t find peace at home you always see your parents fighting all the time, and you can even predict that sooner or later they will separate. Or you feel that they are so busy that it seems they don’t care so much for you and/or your siblings.

Maybe you see addictions or wrong friendship destroying your household, and you want to help but don’t know how.

Thoughts of leaving home are growing in your head and you feel that no one would miss you or care less. Perhaps it isn’t you but a friend of yours that is going through it.

Sunday 26.06.11 at 1pm we are organizing in the VYG an event called “Home Bitter Home” where we will teach you 5 simple steps on how to help your family. And you will hear young people that changed their households as they practice it.
